Re: window felt kits

Whatever you do....do not buy them from LMC. Total junk. The rubber does not even touch the window, let alone "hug" it to keep water out. I believe the "re-pop" brand is the best for aftermarket ones. (made in USA, no wonder)

I know Brothers and the truck shop in orange sell the "re-pop" brand. Check with board vendors here also, as they sell quality stuff.

Re: window felt kits

Check with some of the site supporters. Mine came from Classic parts of america http://www.classicparts.com/. I'll leave the search up to you. My purchase was five years ago so I can't verify they have the same ones. I'm sure Wes would take good care of you as well.

Re: window felt kits

I was only referring to the inner/outer window glass seals. The window channel rubber that goes around the door frame I got from LMC and it was great. Identical to NOS, which made me wonder why the other ones were crap. Like a lot of parts, hit and miss I guess

Re: window felt kits

I'll ask to have this moved this to the 67-72 message board for better exposure.

Re: window felt kits

I think we got the LMC kit.. The window frame strips are good, but the ones along the door don't really fit tight against the window, is they don't do much besides preventt he window from hitting the opening..
