Rearend width? Stock 53
I was wondering if anyone knew the stock width on a 53 1/2 ton. I would like to know the drum to drum measurement..
I just need to know this before I pull the trigger and buy this 8.8 to go back there. I don't get the truck until tomorrow and the scrap yard said I need to pick the rearend up today as they will not be open tomorrow due to the storms we will be getting here...

Re: Rearend width? Stock 53
By the way, you may not know about this site where they have the workshop manuals for these trucks online:
http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/ Those shop manuals have a wealth of info in them that will help you as you go along with your project. |
