changing coils?
so i'm gonna swap out my rear springs for my new jeep springs tonight and i just wanted to ask and see what the best way to go about it is. i have a jack and jackstands. any help would be great thanks guys!

What I did when I changed out my coils so I could paint everything.
I put a floor jack under the axle and gave it a lift. After I had my frame as high as I wanted I put the stands under it and then I slowly loosened the coil bolts. Later I lowered the floor jack which of course took the pressure off the coils and my frame was up in the air. When I put the coils back in I did the same thing, but I kept very good attention on how high I jacked up the axle since I was going to start lifting the frame up since the coils push on the frame. |

support the frame in front of the rear axle(after it straightens out), with your stands, pull your wheels and shocks. make sure the suspension is at full droop.....if not raise the stands so it is. use a floor jack to support your differential and remove the springs.
I cut my springs in 3 pieces to make easier access to the rusty bolts......but that is just me good luck kiser, we posted at the same time

Thanks for the help guys, my buddy and i swapped them out today, went super smooth. Here is the end result.
