Re: OverPowered Powerwheels

I'd love to do this with my old go cart frame.

Back in the day, my dad had the awesome idea of wiring my power wheel jeep (Buddy L actually) to run off a car battery. With out any thought to weight distrubution, the battery was placed right over the rear axle. Took a week of modding and such to get it all done. Once the stock batteries were removed from the front axle, all hell broke loose.

That extra weight over the rear axle, made bumper standing wheelies no sweat! Thank fully for the fake roll over bar, as this thing would go all the way on it's back bumper.

Sucker lasted for only a few hours before the motors self destructed.

Re: OverPowered Powerwheels

Those ant barbie cars. These things rock.

http://www.eastcoastminiclassics.com...lsReadytoship/

This is the one I want. This black/purple truck has a 9 hp Honda and a special Comet Torque converter. This bad boy goes just under
50 mph and stops with 2 Wilwood hydraulic disc brakes.
All it's trim is highly polished stainless steel incluing the bumpers and grille. The Candy purple and black is clear coated and has been equipped with wheelie bars (not shown). This truck sells for $4500.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: OverPowered Powerwheels

The ones in the video are all custom made. The Barbie jeep, Vette, and Mustang are all on custom chassis, and the F150 (and their Hummer) are on chopped up kid's ATV chassis. These guys are engineers by day.
