Re: Man burried with his 67 C10
My respect goes for that person. There is a song (in spanish) that I like to hear wich talks about a guy whose last wish is to use his cheyenne as a hearse for when he dies, I wouldnt mind resting in peace in my truck as this guy did.

Imagine an archaeologist discovering this burial "tomb" in the distant future....

I am leaving mine to my friend (adopted step son) and he has promised to carry my ashes around so I can still enjoy riding in it!! Is that to macabre?

Not at all, they launch ashes in space and in the ocean.
For a real kicker, if he doesn't smoke, use the ash tray and put your name on the cover panel. |

I like the ashtray idea. Just a little bit of you forever in your truck. How cool is that!

Re: Man burried with his 67 C10
Well...when I kick the bucket...70cstjr is getting the Circuit Rider. if that was a Ford it would be a much better idea but Chevy's are meant to be driven not buried.

A pocket knife ,deer rifle and his truck. I bet he was a story teller after a couple beers. No disrespect intended. Great story and a cool idea.

Re: Man burried with his 67 C10
I heard of a lady back east somewhere about 13 years ago that was buried in her Corvair.
My Dad wants to be buried in his 68 Camaro but I very seriously doubt that will happen.

Re: Man burried with his 67 C10
yeah, but I would rather have my stuff given to a family member who would APPRECIATE it,, not sell it for a profit, that way it can go on and be a memory..
also wonder how long till some good ol boys, dig him up, for that deer rifle and pocket knife?

Re: Man burried with his 67 C10
We lost a member of our car club a few years back... We all took our hot rods to the funeral and to the Cemetery... As he wished before he died when we were leaving the cemetery we all stopped one by one and did huge burn outs.. You should have seen the look on the faces of the people who just didnt understand...
