Blazer half top
Did anyone see this? Martinsr saw it at a show and posted this pic in the paint & body section. The place to get it is East Bay Customs at 925-634-5717 they are in Pittsburg California, for about $2000. The kit is actually made for trucks, but is designed from a blazer top.

Re: Blazer half top
Half tops look so right. Luv em. Saw one on a Jimmy about 30 years ago. That's one of the trucks that made me fall in love with 67-72 trucks...

Re: Blazer half top
The hotrodshop replied to me too but refuses to give a price. I even told him I'd pay in advance and never heard back from him. I gave up and took the DeWalt Sawzall down to the wrecking yard and brought home the topmost section of a 72 C10 cab and made my own!
It was easier than I thought and I have less than $150 invested and that includes a sliding rear window I found on Craigslist. If the glass tops are as thin as the one in the first post, I think I made the right decision. Jim |

Re: Blazer half top
I really think that ORANGEK5's option is the best....
Saw it at the Goodguys a few weekends ago... Looks nice and the finish is surprisingly good for being sold as "rough" fiberglass. The guy told me they specifically made it to look exactly like the cab of a p/u for those who want the stealth look of a stock p/u but can remove during the nice months. Didn't mention the availability of a bulkhead/ load separator but that can easily be fabricated. I cant recall the price, but it was in the $2000 range

I'd sell it, but there is no way I would ship it. Good luck in your search.
