Alternator fan/pulley question
What color should the fan/pulley be on our alternators? Should they both be gold cad...or is one black, one gold cad? I can't remember which if so. Thanks.

Re: Alternator fan/pulley question
Mine was black on a 67 GMC. I just replaced it with a Champion alternator that had a gold fan (which looked better IMO).

Wow...thanks for the ultra fast response! Are the fan and pulley both gold?

Re: Alternator fan/pulley question
My pulley is cad plated, the fan is black. They are the same as when I bought the truck in 1977, and are original as far as I know.
