Seized Up Screw
I was wondering if any of you guys out there can help me. The fuel filler door on my 82' is rusted out. I am trying to remove the (2) screws that hold it to the bedside but, one will not budge. It seems to be rusted in place. Any ideas on a product that will free it up? I have tried the budget multi-purpose lubricant from Advance Auto Parts to no avail. I would like to find something that will free it up before I have to cut it out.........

heat it up a bit and spray som pb blaster on it should come off..

Mix some ATF with acetone. Works 100 times better then PB blaster or Liquid wrench. I found an article somewhere where torque testing was done, but I can't find it at the moment.

Screwdriver on screw. Smack screw driver with hammer. Works every time.

I always keep a jar of valve grind compund to dip the screwdriver in, keeps from rounding off screw heads. dip, place, smack, out comes the screw!
