What's so crazy about it? It has wheels, and is obviously meant for an engine to be on it?

Looks nice! Wanna swing by and clean my 5.3?

What final color are you going to use on the motor? (Of course, that's assuming that the gray is primer...)

Re: I'm one of you guys now

took me most of the weekend to re-seal it and clean, then Megan painted...

that isn't primer, it is engine paint, and that is the color it is gonna be. water pump, brackets, and manifolds will all be black.

this is the color I wanted, but couldn't find anything in a rattle can locally

Re: I'm one of you guys now

That looks great man! That color will work really well with the exterior of the truck too. Give Megan props for her painting skills, but to be careful. There are quite a few guys on here needing stuff painted.

Oh and you used the wrong emoticon.. earlier puff, puff, pass bro

Re: I'm one of you guys now

I have a new plan for the exterior......low gloss black with red and maroon pinstripes to tie in the maroon interior.....don't know how long that will be though.....

Re: I'm one of you guys now

That sounds cool. That has actually crossed my mind for mine too. The satin black paint is pretty cool looking. The engine will look pretty good against that black too.

Re: I'm one of you guys now

Yeah I need to start doing some prep work for my engine. Seeing how fast I move! I need to find some pulleys and such that are chromed now, and are going to be black whenever I swap motors out. I may see if I can sandblast the brackets and have them either powdercoated, or paint them.

Where did you get the engine paint from?
