Talking Update on my '78

After digging into my '89 and finding this....


And the tailgate won't close


I decided that it would become a doner for the '78
so starting with this


Out went the remains of the red interior that came with it and in went the gray



Got the dash altogether

Wow! that's bad when a 78 is in better shap then a 89... The 78 looks to be in good shap, so what's the plans?

I really dislike Taiwan fenders
I have 3 shims on the left side just so the hood will clear but they will have to do till I get some real ones


Found a descent grille at the scrap yard


It goes in for it's safety on Thurs
It has been a busy weekend

No major plans. Just building it for a driver and to pull my pop up camper. I'm still trying to make a deal for the 4speed for it though

Found me some GM fenders And got some paint out. Now to find some moldings



Here's the 4speed set up I found Just have to find the time to put it in
