Electric cooling fans suggestions
I took off my clutch fan today. I am planning on putting on electric fans, amnd I am figuring there must be some other model cars or trucks I can take them off of. According to what I have been reading, I need 2 14" fans (minimum) to push enough air across the 350. Any suggestions?

Re: Electric cooling fans suggestions
Actually, those were the ones I am planning on buying. I was really hoping someone had done a swap from another truck or car. There are a handful of pick & pull junkyards around, so I was figuring I could save some money by going to the junkyards. Electric fans from the junkyard are only $15 a piece. Then I'd just buy the thermostat and wiring. Any suggestions would be helpful.

[QUOTE=tvblazer78;3329997]One 16" should work. [QUOTE]
Funny you should say that. I was reading about this and actual CFM's needed. Come to find out, my truck would need 2 14" fans to statisfy it's requirements. One 16" fan would be enough, but with A/C, you need that little extra. Just FYI

Ford tourus fans are what we use in my group here. Dual fans, cheap in junk yards HI and Low settings.

Re: Electric cooling fans suggestions
I was just waiting for someone to say taurus. That was the car to use for elec fans in Broncos. As long as someone has tried it, and it worked, then awesome! Are you using the same newer body style as we were using on Broncos?
