2004 Blazer rear end for an AD truck?

My buddy at work was telling me about the rear end he put into his '53 Dodge wagon and he said it would easily fit my '48 Chevy as mine takes a 60" wide rear end. The rear end is from a 2004 Blazer but it's a rare find as it can only be had with some specific options which, of course, he didn't have written down for me.
The Stats:
-60" wide from flange to flange
-3:42 gears in an Auburn Posi
-8-1/2" housing
-Rear disc brakes

Has anyone used or heard of this differential?

It's also a 12 bolt..........
