help please with hood latch issues - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

my hood is stuck on the suburban, i pulled the inside release but the cable seems to have come loose at the front catch, anyone have any ideas how i can get to the catch to open the hood and fix the release.

sometimes the cable breaks in the middle and if it can be seen under the grill sometimes you can yank on the cable there and it will open
