Torque Converter Install Question
Hey, I am getting ready to install my new Boss Hog 'verter, and had a question. Am I supposed to put any trans fluid in before I bolt it to the engine? Can I do this if it is already bolted to the flexplate? Talking about a TH400
Thanks, Steven |

Re: Torque Converter Install Question
bolt the flex plate to the engine first.
then you will want to put a few qts in the converter then slide it on the input shaft of the trans then spin and push clock wise, it will take a little bit to get the hang of it.make sure it is all the way seated then install the trans after the trans is bolted up, then bolt the converter up to the flex plate... I just did this a few months ago, just take your time.. Good luck
