Re: foreign 60-66's

OK I don't want to hear anyone complain about rust again!
this guy is fixing this 64!!!
It makes me sad to think about how many of these trucks get crushed in america every day, and this guy is fixing this because it is all he has to work with....

check out the last 2 photos:
It is a 64, and appears to have come with 57-60 hubcaps. They started producing chevy trucks in 1960 in argentina, they might have just carried the early wheels and caps through all the years...or they might have been changed at some point...

look closely at the speedo.....160MPH!!!!!... well its probably kph, but I want one!!!

Re: foreign 60-66's

According to the guys I Google translated to there are no parts to be found for these trucks. They love what they see on this site but simply can't afford to do what were able to. The big dream in Argentina is to have a V8. They say that's all they ever talk about. They build heavily modified inline sixes. No heaters in the Brazilian built trucks 64-66. 63 below were imported. Same hubcaps throughout the years. All Brazilian built were Big Back Glass ( Panoramic View ). Very friendly to write to, some speak English, others I use Google translator. I'm French so Spanish is not that far off
