Fender Alignment

I am starting to reassemble the front end of my truck (65) but I can't seem to get the fenders close enough to the rocker panels I have a large gap on the left side. Any tips or ideas on how I can get the front end to line up ?

make sure you have cleared everything. some times an obstruction can cause problems with alignment.

Just an idea. What kind of shape are your cab mounts in? If the front mounts are collapsed, you will have trouble with lining up the bottom of the fender since the front of the cab will be lower.

also, make sure your cab is on square.
measure diagonally and square to make sure it's sitting on the frame right.

was the cab taken off the frame? and have you got the cab bolted down tight?
if so, loosen the bolts up, but don't take them out. just loosening them might give you the adjustment to shim that side. Also might need shims under the front fender mount.

fitting panels is def time consuming. take your time and you'll get it right.

Thanks for the tips. I just replaced the cab mounts I bet thats why the fenders don't fit right. I will loosen the bolts up and try it again.
