Passing Gear sticking

Hey I have a th400 tranny and when i get it in passing gear it just sticks. Does anyone know how I can fix this and how had it will be to do? Thanks

So when you kick in the secondarys and the tranny shifts for passing gear its sticking. have you tried adjusting or checking the kickdown cable. also what about the vacum modulator is your tranny shifting hard. if everything there seems fine its going to have to visit the transmission shop. i hope some of this helps im sure theres others on here that could help out.
