What is involved in putting the front end (grille, hood, etc) of a 70 Blazer onto that of a 71 or 72? How about putting the front end of a 67 or 68 truck onto a 71 or 72 Blazer?

Also, are the front ends from the trucks, burbs, and blazers interchangeable within a given year? How hard are the front ends from 67-70 to find in good condition? Thanks.

Yes, front ends are interchangeable from Trucks to Blazers to Burbs, they all habe to samae front end. The only differences between the 69/70 and 71/72 are the grills, which are interchangeable. To swap to a 67/68 front end, you have to swap everything.

Thanks Randy70C-10. When you say everything needs to be swapped to put the 67/68 front end on a later truck, what does that mean - hood, grille, radiator support? Anything else?

The whole front clip from the cowel to the bumper. Dont try it any other way.

Ok 72Mario. I think I'm leaning towards buying a 71 or 72 and finding a 70 grille to swap in. It's that easy, right?
