Radiator Crossmember ID
My 64 was a 6cyl/3spd from what I know. The frame I'm using for parts has a slightly different radiator support c.member. My best guess is one was V8; the other 6cyl.
Which is this one??

Re: Radiator Crossmember ID
The one installed in the truck currently has the radiator brackets on the 'upper' part of that c.member vs. the 'lower' part like in the pics.

Re: Radiator Crossmember ID
The crossmember in the pics above is setup for the 6cyl radiator. The V8 radiators sat up on the upper flange, like the one you have installed in the truck.

Re: Radiator Crossmember ID
Hhmmm... I guess I'll decode the 64's vin & see what it was from the factory. It has (had) a straight 6/3spd when I purchased it. Looks like the only difference is the mounting location of the radiator brackets. So, for mock-up, the 6cyl one will work & just needs V8 brackets.
Thanks....
