Orange truck...New tan interior:)
I just finished my interior today...I've been collecting all the gear since december...finally got it all together. I still need a new steering wheel and I'm going to get a new seat but It's looking pretty good. For those of you with orange trucks that are trying to do something different than the halloween theme...this tan works really good. The carpet is "biscuit". Now I can enjoy the inside of my truck as much as the outside

Re: Orange truck...New tan interior:)
Love the color choice , it something I have not seen on these trucks. Love the Seat , love the seat belts , love the carpet , love the sun visors , love the dash pad ........ but....... something about those door panels just does not look right to me. Then again I am very picky.
Don't get me wrong , the interior is outstanding and love the color choice. Last edited by purewhitemp5; 08-22-2009 at 02:29 AM. |

Re: Orange truck...New tan interior:)
I love it. It adds a fresh look with out "trying" to be something that it's not.
Have you considered adding some woodgrain back to it? Maybe not the OEM stuff, but get a more contemporary color that matches the tan color?

Re: Orange truck...New tan interior:)
I love it!
A week or two ago I asked questions about tan interiors and didn't get much feedback. I think it will look great with my bluish-gray color too. where did you get the carpet, dash pad, door panels, and sun visors from and what color are they. The only thing I could find was saddle or something like that, and it looked too brown. |

Re: Orange truck...New tan interior:)
Beautiful looking interior. Nice and sharp. Color contrast works very well.
Is the middle set of seatbelts also on a self retract? Or do you have an adjustment on the 'female' end that has the belt pulled short? |

Re: Orange truck...New tan interior:)
The middle isnt a retractable...It's the standard belt and I have it shortened for the pics...I dont think your supposed to bolt two belts into one hole but I did it so my wife could sit next to me...hopefully it's not unsafe

Re: Orange truck...New tan interior:)
Same here I dont like the scroll work. As for the the rest of the panel maybe some kind of insert inside of the chrome/SS trim. Or you could take the measurements of the area where the scroll work was and go to your local vinyl shop and have them make old script" CHEVROLET" lettering in orange or a bow tie or the trucks name or not.

Re: Orange truck...New tan interior:)
That came out really nice. Great job! Oh, BTW, your are safe with two belts on one bolt. The factory does it on many models.
