Tach Cluster with wood grain from a 72

I got a Tach Cluster out of a 72 BB truck. Wood grain on it has some issues. Also have the matching glove box door in much better shape. Appears to be original.

If the tach works it is worth $250, or more. The printed circuit is very nice and makes the dash a little more valuable... Just my .02

Re: Tach Cluster with wood grain from a 72

That's good news. Is there a way to test the tach outside of the truck? Or do I need to get mine running before I can test it?

I'm still on the fence on whether I want to keep it or not. Would be nice to have a Tach in my Blazer, but it would also be nice to the money to help get it on the road.

It is possible to do outside of truck, but you need access to a coil off a points truck or another HEi to get the signal from. Just put 12 volts on the positive, and hook the metal tin to ground(make sure that has a good ground!), and hook the signal up from the dizzy and it will then move or not.
