tranny help?
I am currently restoring a 65 with a 350 and decided I would rather have a 4 speed than an automatic. I have found a Borg Warner super t10 out of a 70's vette. I also have acquired the correct bell housing so now all I need is the clutch pedal assembly and linkage. Does anyone have any ideas on an easy way to go about this?

Re: tranny help?
Since the 65's originally came with a stick setup, I'd just go with the original mechanical linkage. There's a listing on Ebay right now a pedal assembly:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/63-64...Q5fAccessories You'll also need the z-bar, the rod that goes through the floor, the frame bracket for the ball stud, 2 ball studs, the clutch fork and push rod. I collected all this stuff for my truck and then went with a hydraulic setup instead. Sadly I may have pitched it all out. If I can find the parts I'd be glad to hand them off for the price of the shipping. You might also be able to find everything in a local wrecking yard, or Ebay. |
