Gearbox identification help

Foung a manual gearbox for sale, id No 3851325,

3851325 appears to be a Muncie 4 speed. Do a Google search and you'll probably turn up much more information. If it's original, I believe there's a way to determine the gearset by how many grooves are cut into the splines on the pilot shaft.
