Re: Cool Blazer Story !!!
How did you go about tracking the history of the owners?

Re: Cool Blazer Story !!!
That is awsome!! Where in oregon are you? The same thing happened to me last year, i owned a c-10 for years then with the kids growing up we had to get rid of it, 12 years later my wife makes me stop at some stupid yard sale and out back was my old truck, little worse off then i left her, long story short i bought her back!!! Got to love happy endings. Anyway great job on your find.

Re: Cool Blazer Story !!!
I got on the Oregon DMV website and found the information on how to submit for a vehicles history. It has been a while since I did it, but if I remember right, I had to show proof that I was the current owner and ask for a sanitized record of the truck. They sent me a package that photocopies of all the title transfers from when it entered the state, which in my Blazers case, was from being new.

Re: Cool Blazer Story !!!
I guess since this has been brought back up to the top again, I will fill in a few more details that I have found out about my Blazer. A guy that I know works with one of the other owners of the Blazer. I have not talked to him personally, but my understanding is that it had a 327 in it when he owned it. I hope to contact him some day and get a few more detail. One other side note, the Blazer now is back at the house that I had it at when I owned it. At the first of the year, we bought my parents house, which is where I lived when I had the Blazer the first time.

Re: Cool Blazer Story !!!
I guess this is the end of the road on this story. Today I put it on a truck that is shipping it off to Mississippi to its new owner. I have not posted here in quite a while, since I have not worked on the Blazer in what seems like forever. That was the reason I decided to sell it, so that someone with more time, money, and talent could enjoy it. My time on the forum was enjoyable, but I have moved on to different things. So, thanks for the memories everyone.
