I'm sure he has one of each, and probably has has several.
I've got one mounted on a pedestal, but a hand held unit can get into more places.

One reason it's a dying art is it's so time consuming, and people are impatient and want it cheap and fast.
Allot of people don't know what it takes to make it look that good.

Doug,

those VC turned out GREAT!!!

This reminds me when I took my truck to the alignment shop.....they tried and tried with the computer (Almost 2 hours)...so i called a local hot rod shop and asked them for a guy that did it the RIGHT way.....sure enough I stopped by to see him a week later...took him 45 minutes, used all mechanical tools and his past experience (no 'puters), told some great stories, and cost me $60.....(I got scolded to never take it to a 'puter shop again

)
