WIW 1968 50th Anniversary C20 custom camper
What is this truck worth? It has the factory 396, air, radio, tinted windows. It has the options tag on the glove box also. It runs and drives great. The rockers and floor are rust free. I’d like to make him an offer but I am not sure of what a fair offer would be? He has done some work to it (tires, brakes, steering box, shocks, alt, hoses and belts, windshield, weatherstripping, tune up, and a few other things I can’t remember)
Please help! Thanks, Greg Last edited by short-t; 09-28-2009 at 09:25 AM. Reason: spelling |

i don't know what I would offer, but I will say that is one of the nicest (if original) survivors I have ever seen!

Don`t cast this in stone, but I`d offer around $5000 +/-.You`ll need more opinions for sure.Is the guy just leaving it to you to set the price?I`d tell him,"I really don`t know what to offer and don`t want to low ball him,how does $3,500 sound?"Ofering that way,I don`t see how he`d be ofended if he wanted a good bit more. Why start high?It then would be up to him to give you a value he had in mind.Don`t be surprised if it`s at least double what you offered.
If you do end up with it,first thing I`d do is read that badge on the fender so you know the proper name to call it.

Is this truck in Canada or are you shopping south of the border?
In Calgary I think that would be a very reasonable price, and if you pass please PM with the sellers information.

I would love to grab that truck for only a couple grand. As clean as it looks from the pictures, I would give $5,000 for it. But I don't think what he is asking is too far off. Good luck!
