How do the back of the bench seats in our trucks tilt forward?

I heard that there is a bolt/screw you can remove to make it tilt?? Hopefully someoen will jump in..I would like mine to do it not sure why te only thing back there is the fuel tank??

'67 and most ' '68 bench seats would tilt forward by releasing a catch on the drive's side of the seat where it pivots.
The other seats would only pivot if the phillips head bolts are removed on each side. The ones on my '71 were hidden by the seat cover. Danny

i have a 72 bench and it does not move... but like the previous people said take the bottom screw out of the mount on the sides of the seat and it will pivot on the middle screw .... hope this helps
