Re: my 80 build

Aaron, the truck is looking good. I won't say anything but, I like the idea of going to the stock tails. I think it will look nice for you. Maybe you should just blow the big chunk and get the LED set that Dakota Digital offers. They do look good.

Re: my 80 build

Thanks Gerald so fair I switched to stock turn signals, I think I'll save up for some led tail lights, I finished a few things on my do list adjusted the windshield wipers so they'll wipe, worked on adjusting my headlight but the headlight buckets are wallered out were the adjuster go. so I'll go junkyarding for some good used ones, and went to harbor freight and they had a low and high chrome plated snail shaped horns for 10 bucks. The air horns I got from them sound funny aren't loud but the new ones sound great. Then I need to figure out how I'm going to hook up the heater hoses

Once you get the hoses hooked up, take some pics. I'm curious how that thing will work foy you. I may be buying one of those Mojave heaters later. Keep up the great work!

Re: my 80 build

I worked on a few things, hooked up the heater, fixed the back up lights they never worked since I've had the truck, added a extra under the dash light, there a lot more interior light, redid the gauge panel, also for Christmas I got for my truck was 100 amp one wire alternator and msd plug wires

Re: my 80 build

How was the 160? That is the one I'm putting in mine. I won't be driving it much during the winters, but was just wondering.

Re: my 80 build

it did good the only reason I changed it was because I couldn't get the old one to work right it would go to 250 wile I was driving then I would stop and it would go back to 180
