Pro system carbs
Look at this bad boy - from what I hear it may be worth up to 40hp more than the standard model. Anyway kind of neat!

Re: Pro system carbs
Patrick is a frickin genious. I'm looking for a couple of tenths in the Nova so I've been kicking around making some changes. One of them..... changing the intake to a CFM fabricated sheetmetal intake. If I do,, were going to put a pair of these things on it.
Hello 8's

Re: Pro system carbs
Any engine running a dual plane intake has no need for that carb. That is not a street carb.Anything short of a race car or truck doesnt need it

Re: Pro system carbs
Kinda looks like a Holley-Predator mix.
Cool looking beast, I'm a sucker for billet carburetors. I have a billet Dambest methanol carburetor (pic), nothing runs or idles like this thing... My engine builder played with a lot of brands Willys, Stealth,K-B, BLP, and Quick Fuel (not Pro Systems,I don't think). Only down fall, cover your ass when you pay the bill... |

Re: Pro system carbs
Looks cool, it'll be interesting to see some back to back tests against a dominator style carb. Kinda reminds me of the Holley 3 barrel with that huge oval shaped "dump" for the secondaries.

Re: Pro system carbs
Heres one on kijiji for $300 IMO about 300 times what it's worth. The 4600 series carbs didn't work out too well for Holley, or most that tried to use them.
