using 67-72 chevelle 5 lug disc??
sorry if this has been asked already,no results from search?
i traded a guy a set of tires today for a set of disc knuckles and 5 lug rear axles from a 67-72 chevelle,i was told would work on my 70 c10 2wd.I have never heard of this as an option, but traded the guy anyway b/c he needed the tires and seemed like an honest guy.And actually the parts were his dad's he had for a 69 c10 and never used,so all the info. he gave was from his dad about it working. Will this work, and if it will, what else do i need to make the swap-i know i will need rotors, calipers, caliper brackets, and wheel bearings, but not sure from where, and what ball joints would fit? Re: using 67-72 chevelle 5 lug disc??
I would make sure the rear axles work first.
The above kit works with your drum brake spindles. I would just do the normal 5x5 disc and axle swap if it was me. Do you have 5x4.75 wheels for those chevelle rear axles?

Re: using 67-72 chevelle 5 lug disc??
no wheels for them.i actually have a set of 20" inch 6 lug wheels, but dont really want to use them.I just know there's more options w/ 5 lug and wanted front disc's.It was a spur of the moment decision. Not sure about the axles,i have a 12 bolt.not sure what rear end the axles fit.probably should have done my research first. The tires were free and getting in the way,so i figured it would'nt be a big loss if i could'nt use them.I have a buddy w/ a 72 chevelle so i figured maybe he could if i could'nt.
