Question Cowl Hoods

Does anyone have pictures of a Cowl hood on a 64 or around tht year GMC? I found a site that sells them but no pictures. I'd like to see what it looks like before i buy.

Re: Cowl Hoods

The only cowl hoods I've seen for this body style are fiberglass and from what I hear are very poorly made.

Re: Cowl Hoods

Also, it may not matter to you, but keep in mind any aftermarket hoods will be the chevy style, not GMC.

Do a search, there are a few members that have bought these and regretted it.

No see if i tell you the the topic will start on how crappy they make their parts.... i bought it about 7 years ago and I think that it fits really good for being a big molded piece of fiberglass and did not have any problems with mine. PM sent

Re: Cowl Hoods

Well, considering there is only two places that make hoods or frontends...

Until somebody produces a aftermarket steel hood (hole new argument), we'll be fitting glass parts...

scotts62: I'm glad to here someone had good luck with their purchase...
