Got my exhaust did

Just got back from the exhaust shop. Needed to replace some old jacked up work. I went with 3 inch tubing all the way. Also using Headman Headers with 3 inch collectors and 3 inch sereis 70s. Looks good and sounds mean.

looks good but you might want to put some spray paint on those welds, if not they get really ugly really fast we use some silver high heat spray paint at our shop, you can pick some up anywhere.

Looks fine to me. It's not mandrel bent but it's 3 inch. Will not affect anything. Good looking exhaust work. Bet it sounds killer too.

Re: Got my exhaust did

thanks for the compliments.

yep, as 1972 said thats what crush/pressure bending looks like. its much cheaper than mandrel and in my case worked out great. on the bends of the pipe you loose a little flow so i am probably around 2.75 inches. i think a full 3 mandrel would have over done it for the hp i am putting out. with this set up i didnt seem lose any bottom end and the flow and sound are much improved.

i dont know how much quieter the 70s are, but for me, this set up does the trick...plenty or throaty rumble without being obnoxious.
