Supercharger on a '55 second series??

I'm toying with the idea of taking the blown 355 out of the '67 and putting it in our '55 short bus to power it while I decide what to do with it. It's got a weiand 177 blower and while I know there is quite a bit of room in there, I am wondering if this set up will fit under the hood without needing a hole to be cut. Anybody got any pics?
Thanks.

I would definately like to see this idea materialize! I'd love to take the short bus to school.... just like the old days.

Took this many years ago. It fit under the hood with no problem.

Thanks for the pic. I thought there would be room, but I really wanted to see that it had been done before without too much problem. It looks like the engine will come out this next week and start going in the bus.

My wife thinks I'm a COMPLETE dork for building this short bus. LOL

You realize of course that you will have to give us an update when this happens. Don't forget pictures.

you will have a lot more room than chuckdriver does, his is a 671/871, they are much bigger than the 142/177's.

I wish that truck was mine! But it's just one of many pictures I've taken over the years!!

And we must see how you put it together.
