Hello from Md
Hello. I came across this board last week and was amazed at all of the info here.
I drove my 67 K10 home last night that I just purchased. It is in pretty good shape and needs a few odds and ends. I will get some pics up soon. Maybe someone can help me ID my front end then. There are some awesome build I have found here. My won't be as extreme, but should be pretty nice. Have a nice day, Eric |

Re: Hello from Md
Thanks. Turns out it is a 71, at least the title is. I believe the grill and hood are from a 67 though. Truck is in pretty good shape. Needs a little rocker and lower door work, but I can't see anything major.

Re: Hello from Md
Lara,
Thanks! I think you have more of a Mad Max look than me, but i appreciate it. I will paint it one day. The paint job it has is the one it came with. I have been fixing little stuff that was wrong when I got it, but will be going over the entire thing this spring once my garage is built. So how do you drive with the steering wheel on the right side anyway? Have a great day! Eric |

Thanks everybody for the nice replies.
I was just singling out Lara because it is pretty cool you can be in Maryland and have friends in Australia. |

Re: Hello from Md
Ha ha ha - I sit on the right side too - ever wondered why it is called the "right" side - it is because the other side is wrong.
I am going for the hard core Mad Max look with my new rebuild. The "don't bother parking too close I will drive over you to leave and I won't care about the Mercedes paint on my scrub rails" look.

Re: Hello from Md
Welcome Sheepdog from a fellow Marylander. Your truck looks similar to one my wife's cousin owned a few years ago...shoulda bought it and the Chevelle he had before it... If your up for a road trip we're having a informal MD get-together in Westminster on Jan 16, check out the link in my signature for more info.
