Re: mustang cobra r wheels
what kind of suspension are you running? Stock? Lowered? S-10?

Re: mustang cobra r wheels
Wheels are 18/9 1/2. Just wondering has anyone run this combo under a truck with stock frame. The offset is 6 inches .
I am going to trade my 15 inch weld wheels for these 18 s if they fit I need more ground clearence. |

Re: mustang cobra r wheels
My best guess is No
too much back spacing unless you tub or narrow the rear axle. I would think there are better ways to get more ground clearence!

Re: mustang cobra r wheels
I'd say no also. 8" maybe 8.5" width wheel is max without a tub.
I've got 18"x7" & 20"x8" (Mll frt, 10-bolt rear) with 4" back space front and rear. Front is fine, rear gets close when I lower it.. |

Re: mustang cobra r wheels
The only real way you will know is to trial fit them before doing the swap.
If it is this style of wheel the clearance issues will be to the inside rather than the outside as the back spacing is 5.9 inches and there is only about one inch offset to the outside. |
