Re: Coy Wheels Don't Fit Chevy Trucks...
Besides the fitment issues, Coy's needs to do a better job of polishing their wheels! Other than that, they're awesome.

Re: Coy Wheels Don't Fit Chevy Trucks...
I had the same problem with the center cap on my coys on my 79 blazer. I was pleased with the finish on them though. the polishing was definitely superior to a TTII.
The center cap issue is not specific to the coys. I have had to do a little grinding to fit several brands of wheels over the years. Boyd, Budnik, etc.. |

Re: Coy Wheels Don't Fit Chevy Trucks...
Regarding the polishing of the Coy's,I'm going to have change my mind!
I hit them with some Mother's Billet polish, and they're shining like new money! WOW. I had forgotten how awesome that stuff is. I got better results with the Billet by hand than I did with Mother's PowerBall and Power Metal polish. I tried some very highly regarded English Custom Metal Polishes, and they didn't work nearly as good as the Billet polish did. It's priced like liquid gold, but it really works! The wheels aren't perfect, but they look a WHOLE lot better now. The Billet polish even took out some of the fine scratches that the wheels came with, but not all of them.
