Re: Wheels or suspension

I would go wheels first so that i could see exactly how low I could go (I'm assuming you mean lowering by suspension.?) But it doesnt matter as long as you have a plan on what you are trying to achieve and make sure that the components you are buying are going to work together to get you their.

Re: Wheels or suspension

Can you be more specific? What size wheels do you have in mind? What suspension are you planning on running.

If your running 15's and a mild static drop it's not a big concern which you buy first. If your trying to tuck 22's with bags, it's a whole "nuther story".

I would do the suspension first. That will tell you what wheel & tire to go with. JMO

Re: Wheels or suspension

I'm going to take a guess here and assume you can not afford to do everything at once. If that is the case, I would do tires and wheels along with a full static drop.

When the funds allow, do your air suspension, but do it right the first time.

Re: Wheels or suspension

definitely suspension first. just setup your rear big enough to lay out on your planned tire size.

Re: Wheels or suspension

I say susp first. Now if you have a definite plan and know exactly what wheel, tire your getting then you can do it any order. But if things are still up in the air then I would do susp first.

Re: Wheels or suspension

Suspension.
If your current wheels and tires will work then go for it.
I'd rather be low on smaller wheels than sitting real tall on big wheels.
