Hello from NW Washington
Great forum here, lots going on. I am glad to join and be a part of the pack.
I chose my project as a 68 LWB Fleet, with plenty of modifications in the future. I am married and have 3 boys, all teenagers. The youngest seems the most inclined to want to help on my projects. I live about 1.5 hours north of Seattle. I will add pics of my project, when I figure it out. I enjoy the forum, thanks Jay |

Re: Hello from NW Washington
OK the pictures are on there.
The first one is the truck as it sits now. The second is a 400 SBC, I have a 700R4 trans to go behind it. I rebuilt the engine about 10 years ago, and it has just sat since. Doesn't look as pretty now as it did back when I finished it. The final is a drawing that I did of what my plans are for the finished project. |

Re: Hello from NW Washington
Welcome from another Washington newbie.
I've always liked the '67/'68 trucks with the simple grill and the way the front of the hood is laid-back. Nice project. |

Re: Hello from NW Washington
All that engine compartment needs is a little cleaning and should look great again. Welcome from Western Kentucky. The 400 is a great engine.

Re: Hello from NW Washington
Yeah, hopefully I can get some time while I am not working to get going on the truck. I have been doing alot of planning and collecting, and now I am doing some itching to get it going. Thanks for all the welcomes. Again this is a great forum.

Welcome to the board from Bothell/Kirkland. Check the Washington section for meet-ups. I believe there is a meet-up being scheduled at the spring swap meet in Monroe.

Thanks for all the welcome.
I hope to start a build thread fairly soon. I began tearing into the truck and found lots of rust in the rockers and cab corners:

Hey Nonhog I like that, "cursed with an eye for potential". I suffer from that also, I say "Nice truck" and my wife says "what that piece of junk?".
