40-20-40 Split Bench in '78 K-10 Anybody?

Can anyone post a picture or give me info about a 40-20-40 Split Bench arrangement in a square body Chevy Truck?

I will be doing a full revolution of the interior of my truck this summer, and I have to keep the bench for the sake of the retro styling, but I need a console/armrest in the middle and I think the 40-20-40 setup is a nice compromise with a flipping console in the middle so that I could still have the straight bench look if I needed to flip the console up to seat a person in the middle.

Anyway, the best example of what I'm after is a '95-2002 Dodge Ram: two big, flat seats that are BARELY bucketed, and a huge, flipping center console in the middle. I figure I might be able to just buy one of those, re-cover it, and mod out the mounting bracket on the bottom to fit. And remove the head rests, of course.

Any advice here?

I've heard of guys doing the same thing with a bench out of an 88-98 chevy/gmc.
