Re: carpet or linex, what did u guys do.
well I took my truck out for its 3rd attempt on the road, the first test went well, drove her for about 15min. went home cause wasnt sure how much gas i had. The 2nd time I got stranded, came to a stop sign and it just died. well after gettin jumped from a CHP!, I hauled ass home, my truck was losing voltage as it ran, I think I might be my starter. anyways Im glad Im finally part of the 1st gen. k5 club, this has been a year and ahalf project. (3/4 ton, big block, 8 inch lift, all new painless wiring but enough bragging. thanks for the help and if I have any more problems, thanks again for future help.

Al's tends to stay pretty pliable, and there are additves that makes it slip resistant

Re: carpet or linex, what did u guys do.
ya slip resistance is important, one too many times evan with just shoes wet, my foot slipped and I hit my shin on rockers. hurts like a sona *****. like hittin ur shin on a tow hitch.

I did forget to mention that when I finish up the bed area, I'm going to re-clear the floor in a matt finish, should help the 'slip' a little bit. |
