Blazer Chalet
F Y I I just noticed a 77 Blazer Chalet on Ebay. As of now, the bidding is at $5,600. which I don't think is too bad for such a rare vehicle. It looks in pretty good shape from the pictures. It's located in Boise, ID. I wish I had the space to keep it. I'm interested in seeing how high the price will go.

Re: Blazer Chalet
Man, that thing looks great. And the photographer made it look like it was Winnebago size on the inside, which it most certainly is not. Still, what a great vehicle to hit the road in. I wish I had that when I was younger.

Re: Blazer Chalet
Same serial # 0661 from this thread last August. Yet another $6100 'reserve-not-met, this past listing was the seller's 18th for it since mid June last year. He will most likely list it again this coming Saturday. I advised him last June that the previous owner confirmed to me that the engine is a replacement 350, not the original 400, and that the actual mileage is rolled over into the 100,000+.
Doesn't mean it is worthless, it is the only one I know of that is a '77 Blazer with a '76 version camper unit, an oddball combination from Chinook, and it is also only one of two I've seen with the pastel orange / tan paint combo. The one in Maryville is this ad: http://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/1619778241.html it belongs to one of our Chalet forum members who joined in order to 'borrow' our network to sell it. Probably quite a bargain.
