Re: basic power disc swap?

Get you a booster and bracket set off the parts board or swap meet. Unbolt the master cylinder from the firewall and install the booster assembly. Hook the rod up to the pedal under the dash. Now bolt your master cylinder to the booster. Hook up the vacuum hose to the engine.

It's really that simple. You don't need to disconnect the brake lines or do any bleeding of the brakes. The existing brake lines will have plenty of play in them to reach just fine with the master cylinder bolted to the booster.

Re: basic power disc swap?

Just beware that the booster requires two brackets to mount it to the firewall and a couple of pieces of linkage to connect the booster to the pedal.

You might send teeitup a private message. I have bought from him way too many times to remember. He parts out trucks and is my go-to guy for stuff like this to make sure every little trinket is included.
