Drop Coil Springs

I am looking for a front 3" drop lowering spring and did not know which was the best brand to buy. I have heard bad things about several companies and was hoping I could get some input. Thanks

Re: Drop Coil Springs

I bought 1" lowering springs from Chisholm Suspension about 10 years ago, and one of them sagged another inch within a year. I would not recommend them, but it appears they've gone out of business anyway. Hopefully another member can provide a positive recommendation.

Re: Drop Coil Springs

i ran Western Chassis dropped spindles & springs on my old 93 fullsize Chevy, & they were nice...my 88 S-10 blazer had 3" drop coils too, but i'm not sure what brand...i know DJM & Belltech are other companies you could check with

Re: Drop Coil Springs

I assume you're talking about the rear coil spring? If so then that won't really have any effect on the front. That will just drop the rear. It all depends on what stance you want.

sorry i meant the front with lowering the torsions and doing a lowered
shock in the front effect the ride quality at all?

Re: Drop Coil Springs

Has anyone used CPP lowering springs? If so, how do they hold up?
