t-56?
I wanted a 5 speed, thought about a tremec 500, or 600, then thought why not a t-56 out of the last production camaros before they quit making them for a while? I'm sure people have already done this, i was just wanting to get some opinions about it, thanks.

Re: t-56?
I use Tick Performance for all the T56 upgrades and rebuilds. If you decide to go that route let me know.

Re: t-56?
93-97 F-bodys (LT1 cars) T56 will bolt up to a SBC.
98-02 F-bodys (LS1 cars) T56 will not up to a SBC, Without a lot of work. You need a LT1 bell,front plate,main shaft.

Re: t-56?
I have a TKO 600 in my '83. It's a pretty easy swap. It bolts in like any muncie 4 spd. There is a company that makes a conversion kit for trucks if you already have a floor shifter.
