Door Gasket Glue

You guys know of any good glue or sealent that works for the door seals and gasket? the last stuff i used from auto zone sucked!

3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive 08008 works for me. The trick is to clean the sealing rubber and also clean the area that will be glued...door jamb etc. I think I used lacquer thinner to do that job. You might wipe a little lacquer thinner under your door to make sure it doesn't harm your paint job.

Wax and grease remover might be a better choice for cleaning.....less apt to damage the paint.

Quoting muself... IMight have been Acetone and not lacquer thinner.

We use the glue from Motorcraft. You can buy it at the dealer. Its kind of a dark green but sets up fast and works better then Any 3M product . We sell 3M to but use the FORD stuff
