Thanks to Pball for the idea!
well, the front end of my truck, looked, well, blah, so i started using thinner to rub the paint off, but it was taking a while, i headed to oreillys, got a can of Aircraft, and 20 mins later,(def could have spent more time on them, but had to get back to my job, lol) got these, i mean, its not perfect,(its no 89-91 front end thats for sure ) but looks a TON better than what it did! waiting til funds come in, may convert to 91 clip, or 85-87 grilles and bezels, but just thought i'd post a cheap trick to getting chrome grille's and bezels, other than buying them from lmc

Thanks guys! I like how it turned out! The front end on my truck kind of killed the whole thing! But I'm satisfied with how it turned out!...for now..

Re: Thanks to Pball for the idea!
Nice. I need a can of that stuff. My aftermarket 91 grill is flaking black paint. It would look great once all the paint it removed.

Re: Thanks to Pball for the idea!
lol, i have a serious addiction to these trucks!! and they keep coming my way!! and yes it is, i have used the one out of the gallon before, and it works the same, but i found the stuff in a can less messy for something of the manner..didnt even use half a can and got all this done!

Re: Thanks to Pball for the idea!
just dont use the spray can if the wind is blowing...and keep a bucket of water or the water hose handy because this stuff burns if it gets on ya, but it works great! oh and always do just a tiny spot underneath at first and make sure it does what you want it to, I thought my center part would be chrome too but after spraying the whole thing with aircraft stripper it was just plastic under the paint...made a mess!
