engine temp sensor=which one?

Hey guys, been working on my new Suburban(1989 with 454tbi/th400). The temp guage dosen't work, which one on the engine tells the gauge in the dash the temp? There is one in each head, and one on the forward side of the intake. I'm thinking that is it, but wanted to make sure. David

Re: engine temp sensor=which one?

My guess is the drivers side cylinder head...
Should it be the light green wire ?
