Say guys,

I found a 81 SWB FleetSide not to bad of shape yesterday in my town...Caddo Mills TX(DFW). I stopped to take a look at it and the guy want $1000 cash for it. I figure you may be able to talk him down a little. Here is the low down on the condition. Will probably need two new doors and a one fender....unless you are handy with the body work. The hood, bed and cab are all pretty straight...will need minor repair...surface rust here and there. It has a 305 and TH350 in it. The guy says the tranny is acting up so I figure it will need a new one. I did not get to hear it run cause the battery was pulled. Supposedly has new brakes, carb and drive shaft in it. Be a good resto project. I wanted to get it for a buddy, but well lets just say he is being a a@# about it. Would like for someone on the board to end up with it.

Man, sounds like a good deal. Somebody could buy that thing and make twice there money back if they parted it out. I wish I had the money right now. How is the interior?

Wouldn't mind having the bed on it, but that's about it. Too much money for just a bed. If I had the space to part it out maybe it would be worth it. But who has the time for that.
