door weatherstripping

I want to redo all the weatherstripping on my doors and windows, side vents included. Who makes the best kit for my 80 shortbox? Checked LMC and car parts discount so far.

Try these guys. They had the best prices by far when I was looking.

Re: door weatherstripping

G.M. still sells it also at least they did few years ago when I bought mine its still in boxes. I have everything but door weatherstrip but imagine its still available too. It will give ya that good G.M. feeling for sure and they were reasonably priced.

I can supply PN#'s if ya want.

Re: door weatherstripping

I used american classic seals as well. I didn't do the whole kit...just door seals, window felts (inside and out come as a set), and the vent window seals.

Seemed like the best price I could find. Only issue I had was they didn't send the vent seals and the box had no packing slip so I didn't know if they forgot or if it was on backorder. Email's went unanswered for several weeks until I threatened to cancel the charges. Even then I never got an ETA. At 6 weeks from the order date, I told them to cancel so I could order elsewhere and I magically got a tracking number for the shipment.

Quality seems good onthe stuff I have...they just ought to do a better job of communicating.

Re: door weatherstripping

I would try gmpartsdirect if I bought weatherstripping again. I bought mine off Ebay and they were junk. A little bit off makes a big difference, especially in window run channels and door felts.
