Need advice from the side fill guys...

I have the aluminum underbed tank in my 56 and it has a 1.5" filler neck. I installed a gas door from a Ramcharger and so far all the junk yard filler necks I can find are 2" outlet. Anyone found a good neck or a good solution for this? I really don't want to get a 2" hose and try to clamp the heck out of it to "make" it fit. Any help would be great, thanks in advance...Mike

You can have an exhaust shop bend up 1 1/2 pipe to fit.

For anyone interested I may have found the solution at CPP. A kit with both hose sizes and an adapter with all the clamps for $30

You can also have them make a reducer or just buy a reducer at the parts house. you will have to weld it up on the bench after you figure out how long it needs to be.
